Yellowstone Bison Winter Storm

Yellowstone bison have a very hard time in the winter.  Temperatures can reach to -30 degrees with snow storms bringing feet of snow.  This particular day I was freezing.  It was very cold. However, watching the bison scrounge for any piece of grass, by using their huge heads like plows to move the snow, was a great lesson in adapting to survive.  I learned to respect their struggle and appreciate their beauty.
